UK slowly disappearing Empty
PostSubject: UK slowly disappearing   UK slowly disappearing EmptyThu Oct 27, 2016 2:49 am

It was thought that unusually large amounts of rain and trench and drain clogging was causing UK to become more and  more waterlogged. However a recent scientific biometric assessment and analysis undertaken by mathematicians and deep sea water divers has come to the conclusion that the island is indeed sinking under the additional weight of new immigrants and the reduction of death rates of existing residents!!

an air view of the island shows that lands end has now disappeared from view and will in future be known as land gone. most of the surrounding hundreds of islands have also become submerged but as they are either uninhabited or have only small numbers of persons no major cause for alarm there!

the Isle of Man will now be known [when we can find it] Man overboard

Anglesey has now become all sea and the Scottish isles -well they have gone but they an keep them anyway. the sale of water craft has increased enormously of late but the Queen Elizabeth III as been seen steaming away at a rapid rate towards Greece??

from the whether man - whether it is more noble to remain afloat or to sink with your fellow men - that's is the question!

Very profound - yet another reason for Brexit.

It's sad but true.
The UK is but a stone raft .... slowly drifting away from mainland Europe at the rate of 5cm every 100 years. Far too slow and not nearly fast enough to outrun the invasion of migrants and refugees heading our way... hence the mad rush to come here.

And .. Brexit really occurred 10,000 years ago in the Ice Age, when the stone raft called the UK splintered off the mainland and drifted off in a bid to escape  .... but they wouldn't let us escape even then oh no .. and Scotland came with us though Nicola Sturgeon would surely have something to say about that. Even if only a Neanderthal grunt grunt.

But take heart .... the Moon is drifting away from Earth at a rate of 1.5 inches a year.
Before it swans off into the cosmos ... perhaps NASA could be impelled to engineer a flotilla of space stations around this new celestial stone raft and all the refugees can be sent out to colonise deepest darkest space instead.
Failing that ... shoot them up to the moon in a one-way rocket. It is after all, only a little further than dangerously crossing the Med in a little sinking boat.

I think we would be served much better by shooting our "leaders" and politicians up to the moon on one-way tickets.

I like your thinking ...
even better .. if some wandering alien chanced upon them it'd put them right off contacting Earthlings.
Perhaps if Merkel was amongst them she could negotiate some deal for them to accept refugees? yes

We just have to hope that the Borg don't come here, we would all be assimilated, resistance would be futile.

Me too .... believe me the Borg could be a real worry but I'm more concerned that that Gouald system Lords might invade through the Stargate first. teacup

One Borg who would be well worth meeting since she was deactivated would be 'Seven of nine'  She makes my toenails curl up. 👽 👽

"The UK is but a stone raft .... slowly drifting away from mainland Europe at the rate of 5cm every 100 years."

I can now release the news that this problem has now been overcome .
Management and I have visited the East coast twice this week. Once to Hornsea and once to Hunmanby.
In both places we drove a strong piece of wood into the beach and then another one into the cliff side. Then a piece of quite very strong string was used to connect the two pieces of wood at each location.
This timely action should save much worry and anguish for all concerned.

Note to andsome.     Do not try to work it out ...just light a couple of joss sticks.
