After a chilly start, it will be a fine day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells throughout for most, although it will turn cloudier in the north later. Winds will be light and it will feel pleasant..........................................................or at least that's what the weathermen say |

Occasional outbreaks of light rain or drizzle are possible through the day, mainly over Lakeland fells. Mostly cloudy, with the odd bright spell possible in the south-east of the region...........................................................or at least that's what the weathermen say |

Any early morning mist or fog patches quickly clearing to leave a dry day with patchy cloud at times and plenty of sunshine, more so in the afternoon. Feeling pleasant in mild temperatures...........................................................or at least that's what the weathermen say |

After a cold start for many of us, it will be another dry and settled day with plenty of sunny spells interspersed with occasional patchy cloud drifting in from the east. The sunny spells becoming more prolonged in the afternoon............................................................or at least that's what the weathermen say |
