Daily Weather Report [+ Associated Chat]

Nine degrees with light rain until about mid day. Temperature due to fall steadily all day. Still very windy. As jenkay said I feel so sorry for those in the flood areas. We played safe and bought a house on high ground,well away from rivers. Jut how high can flood barriers be built? A lot of blame rests with planners allowing flood plains to be built on. People covering everything with concrete or slabs doesn't help. Quite a few by us have paved drives and paved front gardens. We have two concrete ramps for the drive,with gravel up the centre,which I dug out to four feet deep and filled with rubble before adding the gravel. The front garden is gravel with assorted conifers.

It will be a dry start today with some bright spells. Cloud will thicken through the morning, with rain arriving from the southwest into the afternoon, but it will be mainly light. Feeling cold.or at least that's what the weathermen say !

Three degrees here and wet again in Burntwood,same forecast for most of the day. At least the wind has eased off.

Dull and drab here too .... but dry with no wind. It suits me .. better than loads of snow.

Definitely can't red Malcomes effort,especially on the smaller screen of a I pad.

It's seven degrees in Burntwood this morning,with very thick dark clouds. Roll on summer.

It will be a rather grey and cloudy start but it will turn brighter later with perhaps some sunshine. During the late afternoon, patchy rain may just push into the south of the area but otherwise it will be dry..or at least that's what the weathermen say !
