There is a mini roundabout near us on a main road, someone came
out of the turning ajoining the roundabout shot straight across it into a bungalows  window
and wall,
part of the roof came down as well.
don't know what happened to the driver etc yet

Flippin heck meerkat... I'm glad it wasn't your house.

Years back me and Mr Sags saw this adorable little cottage for sale. We loved it ...
until ..
I noticed that the front wall had patches of new stone in it.
So we looked closer .. and put two and two together.
It was on a sharp bend, a junction ... with a black and white chevron sign stuck on the wall... and we spotted the lovely front bay window looked new too.
We decided to give it a miss. I'd never have been able to relax in that lounge, half expecting a car to come ploughing through it.

Though this one is nearly as good ...

In the 1980's I lived in a renovated old barn. Quaint. Picturesque.
We sold it.
A week before we moved out a petrol tanker veered off the main road and ploughed down the embankment straight through the front garden and wiped it away.
The day before we moved out the landscapers were busy working to a deadline replacing hedging and fencing and restocking with established looking plants for the new owners.

The new owner was actually pretty good about it.
He was moving his stuff in through the back door .. whilst the landscapers were finishing off restoring the front.

This what happens when a tanker driver has a heart attack! A couple of years ago, just around the corner from us.
