After a rather cloudy and damp start, it will become brighter for many as the cloud lifts and breaks up with some warm sunny spells developing. However, there may still be the odd drizzly shower across north Lancashire and Cumbria. ....or at least that's what they say !

It's not great here .... but after cutting the hedge yesterday I'm having a lazy day .. a very very lazy day of idleness and slovenly indulgence.

Rather cloudy today with rain or drizzle at times, occasionally heavy. Later in the afternoon the sun is likely to break through the cloud bringing the risk of heavy thunderstorms or torrential downpours in places late in the day.. ....or at least that's what they say !

Sixteen degrees with high cloud over Burntwood. Isolated thunder storms are a possibility this afternoon.

Got two fans going here.
Grandson had his MRI scan this morning.
Wait now for the result.

Any early rain in the north quickly clearing, to leave a dry, bright day with plenty of sunshine for most. It will be windy, but feel very warm in the sunshine. Rain is likely to return from the south later. ....or at least that's what they say !
