| Now I know I'm getting old. Just tripped up in the bedroom, and really crashed down hard, barked my right knee, skinning it enough to draw blood, and knocked my right wrist. I have got off very light really. I'm very lucky the wrist did not break. It was several minutes before I could manage to get up with the help of 'Er Indoors. A few years ago I would have bounded back onto my feet. I suppose however that getting old with all its consequences is better than the alternative. |

Take care OK thanks, and very lucky, just a very badly skinned knee, bad enough to bleed, and a general feeling of unsteadiness. Just taking it easy for the rest of the day. ( A good excuse). |

| : : ah andsome ... get and strap that wrist for a little additional support and take it easy. I know what you mean. I slipped on a slick path in the garden the other week and whereas years ago I'd have just laughed and bounced back up it did shake me up a bit. Be lazy and pamper yourself. |

| Glad you're feeling better my friend. Take extra care now and take that as a warning to go slower ! |

Take extra care now and take that as a warning to go slower ! Thanks, but I couldn't have been going slower. I had walked round the bottom of the wife's bed, and she had thrown the covers back too far, I got tangled up and down I went. You just don't realise how much less capable you are when you reach nearly eighty. I must pick my feet up more |

| I'm an old crock .... very fragile ... worth a bomb. Like an antique. I have noticed when I go to the supermarket if I have to bend down to the bottom shelf that me knees ain't what they were. No springs in them. |
