How many grammer and spelin misteaks can you spot on this Covid advice page on the website for a restaurant in Seaton, Devon.
It was 2 months ago when considderin bookin this restaurant for diner when we were due to buk an oliday for 8 days neerby.
It left me concerned that it might put people off - especially the final line in the instructions suggesting you have to be naked.
These are the errors that I consider worthy of correction :-
I sent them a polite message to let them know that it gave them a poor image and suggested they made the corrections in keeping with their main website and the good reviews they normally get
Here is a copy of the Email I received from the restaurant after I sent them a message listing the above spelling and grammatical errors before making a booking for dinner when we due to be down in Seaton.
Hi Alan,
I feel like I should be sat in the corner wearing a dunces hat currently.
Anyway thanks for pointing out my mistakes on our Covid web page. I will update the page when I have time, hopefully over the next couple of days.
Luckily we have not had any naked customers turning up at the door! Asking to bare with us!
I have booked you in for Thursday at 7 pm, the table does have a 90 minute time allowance on it just to let you know.
Also just as a warning, I wrote the restaurant menu so there will more than likely be a few mistakes on it.
Kind Regards
Rob Stone

By the way - we did go to the Smugglers Kitchen and enjoyed a great meal and excellent service in a well organised social distanced environment.
If in Seaton - go there.
