| I did 5.15 miles on the ordinary bike (as opposed to the e-bike) this morning. It was the same route as the last couple of times but I used the phone to measure the distance this time. I had to stop to mop my brow halfway up the hill and wondered if I ought to cut the ride short. Then determination set in, so onwards and upwards.
It's a dodgy hill to ride up. All bends and fast cars coming up from behind. It all becomes worth it when at the top of the hill and then going off-road. The track was quite picturesque today with all the shades of green, the trees and the dappled sunlight. Glad I made the effort. |

| I find I can still do it but don't know how either. :) Asthmatic and weedy as a child. Lost a kidney to cancer when I was 40 and the other one has a tumour inside it. Numerous waterworks ops and have had an 'atonic bladder' for a good few years. Yet I still seem to have a core strength. I surprise myself too. It will end soon I'm sure. Being in no pain helps I think.
I rode to the doctors and back yesterday but that was on the e-bike. :) |

| I am very impressed with you Mart...even more so after reading your last posting, and glad to have you as a friend. I have a few health problems that require regular medication....but none serious ! |

| Thanks Malcolm. It all doesn't seem so bad after a while. My problems aren't painful and I know yours are, so you're probably more of a hero than I am. :) Friendship? The feeling is mutual. :) |

Yes Davo. I just knew I could shake this place up a bit and get it moving! I have that effect everywhere I go! |
