Newspapers In Decline

I see that a row has developed between the publishers of The Telegraph and W H Smith.

The price of the paper has been increased by 25 % recently but the publishers are not paying the new price to the the shops.

W H Smith has decided to take The Telegraph off the news stand and hide it away amongst the Business magazines.

Possibly a way to lose even more circulation.

Who the hell will shell out over two quid for a newspaper

I used to buy two per day at one stage, Daily Mirror and Telegraph sometimes the Express mainly for the racing pages and the cross words but I only buy one occasionally on Saturdays now.

and how many teens do you see in a public library these days that's if you still have one? sign of the times - haven't read a book in years

I never buy any newspapers but read a lot of books one every couple of weeks.
