| Good morning - Proper and persistent rain this morning. We need it too. Rain has been patchy up to now. That's quite often the case in central southern England. Rain coming from the west or east often peters out by the time it gets to the middle. |

| Good morning - It's blowing a gale this morning, dry and 19 degrees. I just went and zipped up our polytunnel. I hope our friend's greenhouse and tunnel are OK over on the allotment. They lost a lot of glass in the greenhouse last time. |

| Good morning - It's sunny and only breezy this morning, as opposed to the gale that was blowing yesterday. My polytunnel didn't take off overnight and the one one the allotment was still there the last time I looked. |

| More than a month without a drop of rain, deading the next water bill!
Still temps of over 30 everyday, some really windy ones as we are situated halway up a mountain.
Forecast for a few thunderstorms next week , we shall see?
The numbers of covid infections is rising fast here, logical really, when they are testing so much more. Looks as if the virus is here to stay and we will have to live with it and the effects.
The summer tourist season will be over at the end of this month, for what it was worth. Just domestic tourism with some scattered foreigners.
Out of the twelve hotels we have in Blanes, only two opened. Down the coast in Sanata Susanna where Mrs Beastie is working, two out of a hundred and fifty hotels opened, so we can surmise the devastation effect in the hosteleria industry in just one town on this coast caused by the virus. Multiply that by many thousands and the cause effect on the economy here in Spain is enormous.
I'm coming up to 65 yrs old and cannot imagine what the future holds for the next generation? |

| morning all  what a job to log in this morning it said maintenance on the site try later then it wouldn't let me log on finely it did but its very slow nice bright sunny morning here but a lot cooler then it has been
