| Good afternoon - Still haven't done the trip to the allotment that I was going to do earlier ..but I'm going any minute now, I really am. :)
I had a curry last light. One of Asda's extra special ones. It wasn't bad but still not as good as the ones as Indians cook. |

I can do an 'authentic Indian ' curry using all the necessary spices but its still not as good and flavoursome as a takeaway. The secret is in the onion-based sauce before most spices are added and it is still a mystery to me.

| Between 28 and 32 degrees here everyday. A couple of thunderstorms now and then but short and sweet.
Its high season but not as busy as it normally is but we tick over nicely.
Mrs Beastie makes a cracking curry from scratch, one trick is to use tomato pesto.
We have a local Indian spices shop in a nearby town that has everything you can hope for, we are regular clients during the winter months.
hope it doesn't get too hot for you Davo and that the allotment is going well Mart?

| Good morning - Lots of rain overnight. The first lengthy spell we've had in quite a while around here. The plants in the allotment will be very happy.
Being a fair weather cyclist, the prospects don't look good as regards a bike ride to see my brother this afternoon. :) |
