| Good morning - Another sunny start but a sad day for me. It's the funeral of a friend who I've known for 50 years. A long drive to get there. Mrs mart can't go because of needing to keep an eye appointment at the hospital. |

| Good morning - A grey looking day but still dry. The now usual trip to the allotment this morning. I'll be going to see my brother this afternoon. The funeral went as funerals go. A bit emotional. He was a good friend to us. I suppose we all have to come to terms with the inevitable but we all hope it's a few years away yet. Just a matter of keeping calm and carrying on.  |

| Good morning - Grey skies and certainly colder than of late. We're not going anywhere today. I'm helping Mrs Mart in doing one of her craft projects.
Enjoy the chicken madras Malcolm. I try a lots of supermarket sauces but none quite compare with those made by the by chefs from India or Pakistan. |

Quite agree Mart, I make my own with all the required spices and although it beats most pre packed supermarket ones, it is never just as good as a takeaway |
