| High winds last yesterday broke two fence posts and damaged two panels. In the night we had torrential
rain which disturbed our sleep.

| Good afternoon - I haven't got a Christmas avatar Malcolm. I could think about making one.
The day is fairly fine and mild and I've been mowing the lawn. Not because the grass needs cutting but because the lawnmower is also an excellent leaf vacuum. The neighbours must thing I'm mad running the lawnmower. :)
I'm about to go out in the garden and cut a lot of dead plants down. |

| Good morning - Thanks for letting me borrow your spare Santa hat Malcolm. :)
The morning is bright and dry here. Asda is beckoning and there's no refusing the call. We'll have to buy extra food and drink for Christmas, seeing as how family and perhaps friends will be either staying or dropping by.
Every year we resolve not to spend but every year we end up doing it anyway. Hey-ho ..or should that be ho-ho. :) |

| Not a bad day today....mild and dry and bright, been to Aldi and Lidl bought loads of stuff in prep for Xmas but will have eaten it all by next weekend and will have to do it all again ! |

| Good evening - The weather has been fine, cold and dry today. I went to the allotment to barrow a load more manure around but thankfully, it had all the taken by other allotmentees. I carried on putting a fence up instead. A much less smelly occupation. :) |

| Good morning - A good frost outside this morning ..and it's still lingering. We'll be going to a Christmas dinner at lunchtime over at the local Community Centre. That will be the 2nd dinner this week. We went to one on Wednesday evening as well. |
