The media do seem to have it in for Charlie don't they?

He is in trouble now because he asked an author of Guyanese descent where she came from and when she said. "Manchester" he replied, " You don't look like it!" 

Personally I think she wanted her 5 minutes of fame and no doubt publicity for her writings by feigning indignation.

I agree with Charles...she doesn't look English, although these days English comes in many hues and many fashions !

It's all part of this "Diana the fairy princess" rubbish. I'm not a fan of royalty but Charles is a genuine conservationalist.
I've just gone back to view the URL that Purwell posted. 
Attention seeking!  What is wrong with commenting on an obvious fact. Should I be offended if someone calls me 'white' ?
I could have a Maori calling me a "pom" , he'd be wrong but I wouldn't feel offended.
