very difficult to get good black puddings in OZ - the butchers just won't bother and we get artificial one from austria very often that are not the real things to give a north of england man/woman!

I don't like the one with the larger bits of fat in it but there are others that only have small bits of fat and even some with no fat at all.
A tasty food on my opinion but there are some who can't bear the thought of eating it because of what it's made out of.

I purchased some the other day - they were not black but brown and not fat in them at all - my grandfather was a butcher in UK back when and I demand the best!!

still lookin for some good black puddings - simply put there is no call for them anymore here - they have just gone out of fashion - I am sure there is some wee farmer who makes them for himself or boutique place hidden down a lane in Melbourne that does them - but alas!
yes we have no blackpuddings' we have no blackpuddings today!
