Firework night. Empty
PostSubject: Firework night.   Firework night. EmptyMon Nov 06, 2017 12:38 pm

well I don't know if any of you have animals,
But the last two evenings here have been horrendous.i have two dogs
and one is very scared of fireworks.
she shakes and pants and runs about in panic.
I do buy a plug in that is surposed to help calm them, but it does not help very much.
Its impossible to get them out when nature calls.
I wish they would ban the sales of them and only have one large display for people.
The thing is it starts before the 5th and goes on afterwards.

In my opinion they should be confined to properly organised displays but they are not yet.
Also we get them at other times of the year now, such as Diwali.
I seem to remember that it was illegal to set any fireworks off at any other time apart from bonfire night, maybe still is?

It was not too bad here on the 4th/5th very few loud bangs and was all over by around 8pm on both nights.
I hate 'em and would be glad to see 'em banned, all forms and all kinds including official displays ! angry

Only Organised Firework displays here in the Scottish Borders. I think everyone is so tight with their cash they just don't buy Foreworks. They prefer to see someone else's Cash go up in smoke, drum
