Do you venture out to the January sales on Boxing day,
or do you wait and go later.
I wait and go later, i find if i get a bargain it is usually
towards the end when they knock it down even more.

We don't bother with the so called sales at all now.  Much of the stuff is bought in specially for the sales and is frequently of poor value.  We have better things to do on boxing day too, rather than go to overcrowded shops.  We would rather pay a little extra and shop in comfort. cool

I never go on Boxing Day, I wait and have a browse around after the new year.
A lot of the shops here have genuine reductions of there winter clothing and coats etc.
I often wander around the shops so I know what is genuine and what was there before.
Most of my clothes I get have been reduced.
Got my husband a lovely jumper from Marks & Spencer's ,was £22 pound down to £10.

I'm like you meerkat....no need for sales, we have got everything we want and will ever need.
I never pay silly prices for anything, any clothes priced at more than £9.99 stay in the shop !

I hate the sales as much as I hate clothes shopping, so I stay away from them!

I love looking around the shops, especially for bargains
We have a large Tesco home store, sells all their  lines but not any food,
And I am really sad as it is being closed on 1st Feb.
We have had a hairdressers, a Dorothy Perkins, An outsize clothes shop, a shoe shop a phone shop,
And now Tesco, all in a about a month, all closed.
If this carries on we will have a ghost town.scratch
