Davo! Beer?

Have you come across Matsos beers?  I've just been watching a food program on TV about Broome. That your nearest big town? It looked really interesting - mango beer chilli beer etc

yep know it well lived around the corner once - I used to stick to the more traditonal beers rather than the chillis and mangoes -one favorite was the bishops ale - approved by the bishop of broome indeed - thats a dark brown ale variety - they are spread across the Kimberely a bit and may have started exporting to Perth. Pub was always busy and at one time you could smoke cigars on the balcony surround but alas no more.

Rackstraw Farm, a pub a few miles from us, served a beer called 'Bishop's Tipple'. More of a mead than a bitter. I once asked for a pint of it and the barmaid asked if I was sure I wanted that much. She was right, I was useless for the rest of the day after a pint of that. :)

remember Mart the barmaid is usually always right!! -especially when giving a good spanking!
