| On average and substracting annual leave; sick leave and w/end you'll be working approx 250 days a year. In contrast the hardest working member of the royal family works 114 dys per year and that is Princess Anne. Charles is next then Prince Andrew and then Prince Edward - take a look at the rest!! royal work year |

| Although the Royal Family have a luxury lifestyle (a tough job but somebody's got to do it), I think they bring in more money into the country than they cost. They are the reason for the 'changing of the guard' and so many other colourful ceremonies that bring the tourists in. However, I sometimes wonder whether it's the Royals themselves who bring in the tourists ..or is it just the historic buildings. Would Britain still have the same attraction without our 'overworked' Royals? |

Hmm ..well, there is worldwide interest in our Royal Family. I'm not sure our tourist industry would do quite as well without them. |
