I am always accused of being tone deaf (not true) and having an appalling singing voice (jury's out). But when I sing this to my grandson he really clearly really appreciates it. The boy's got taste...and pale blue eyes!
I still miss Lou Reed. This is possibly the gentlest song he ever wrote.

Gentle enough I agree. Much better than thump thump thump, or whining female bands but not really my cup of tea, (or for that matter coffee).
