How are royalty expected to behave in this day and age ? - be normal or abnormal like the rest of  us of be more refined, stiff upper lip and respectful of other cultures?

I think the answer you are looking for is 'Normal' davo. For all they go to Eaton and are well educated, attend Sandhurst Military Academy or whatever Academy trains them for the Service they decide to join, at the end of the day they are Human just the same a the rest of us. I suppose it is safe to say 'What makes us laugh will make them laugh too'.
