A New Camera Empty
PostSubject: A New Camera   A New Camera EmptyWed Jun 07, 2017 12:14 pm

I have decided to sell my Lumix DMC FZ 200 Bridge Camera. It is an excellent camera – the best I have ever owned, but it is proving to be too big to cart around on our travels.  More and more I am leaving it either at home or in the holiday accommodation and relying on my phone – which I find difficult to use without camera shake.

I have replaced it with a Lumix TZ60 compact camera which is light and pocketable. yet has a lot of advanced features. I bought it this morning and am in the process of charging the battery and setting it up

Just like most electronic products you buy – it came with only very basis instructions and a CD holding a manual in pdf format. I guess it has more features than I anticipated because the manual has 329 pages which I have printed off and filed in a ring binder to take with me tomorrow when we set off for a holiday in Yorkshire and the Lake District. It will be something constructive to read whilst our companions goggle at the TV soaking up all the post-election stuff.

Nice camera Alan. Compact cameras sometimes might not take the same quality shots as big cameras but they are very good nonetheless. Plenty good enough for me anyway. I have what is probably the Canon equivalent of your new camera (SX 260HS) and find it much better than carrying around the Olympus SP-560UZ bridge camera I was using.

Looking forward to seeing some results when you get back from holiday.
