I was so sad to see this drama over the next few nights of school girls being sexually groomed by a gang of men. It shows the lack of compassion shown by the police and social workers.
Apparently to one social worker they were just slags. Excuse the language folks.
This the story of one sexual health workers efforts to bring these appalling men to justice.
My heart went out to the parents of these poor children.

Very sad Goldie. There is a by-line in Coronation Street, I don't know wether you get it down in España where a girl, Bethany, is being groomed for Prostitution by her boyfriend but cannot see what is happening. Sort of living in a foggy world.

They explained quite graphically what these girls went through. It would break any parents heart.

Not my idea of entertainment. More, what I expect to see on the news. A horrifying course of events, but in my personal opinion not the sort of subject for entertainment, Had it been fictional this is a different matter. Regarding the mention of Coronation street, thank goodness that 'Er indoors agrees with me, and we NEVER watch any soap operas at all. Too much rowing and bickering.

I think it will win an award Hetty. The excellent acting by young actresses was superb.
It also highlighted the number of towns around the UK involved.
Some of the men have been released and despite being told to leave the country are still here to this day.
Tragic story of young girls whose lives will never be the same again. Cast aside by the authorities and deserve compensation in my view.
