Snap General Election Called for in June

Theresa May announces date for planned general election. Probably a good move when there is no affective opposition.

Great news TM wants to have the backing of the country before the inevitable war, which is on the cards, to which she will have to commit the country.

The inevitable war, if carried out correctly, should only last a few minutes.

I am afraid "affective" does not not mean "effective".
We have had no really effective government for many, many years.
What I have witnessed, since the end of the war, has made me think that the only aim of every government has been to stuff their wallets with our money by the use of half truths,sleight of hand and the employment of "special advisors". 

The whole business is a great big affectation...a charade..a fraud, and it is not just our sad little island that is weighed  down under the weight. Virtually every "civilised" country is just the same.

Somewhere there must be a solution, but I fear it will not be used without totally honest politicians,

Roget's Thesaurus classes "Politics" as :- Machiavellianism, jobbery, backstairs influence, gerrymandering.

They're only playing at it - besides, they have oil which the US needs.

On the other hand, Little Fatty claims he has a nukular capability but nothing useful (like oil) so he'll be the first to go and the others will be pulled into line in fear - that's the hope, anyway.

I can remember my dear old dad saying the same thing Pops after getting a right telling off for saying about the Falklands war crises. I commented about technology and the fact a cruise missile, whilst the cameras were rolling  just casually went past  the cameraman in a street on its way to a target that killed many innocent victims.

What a bloody  stupid thing to say he commented it's all about oil not human life, get that into your head girl. I was in my forties at the time. It took me weeks before I could mention I was merely commenting about technology and how wars will be fought in the future. 

I do believe Theresa's decision is based on no affective opposition but that is dangerous too as a successful and thriving country with a flourishing economy has that. 

We are going through weird and frighten  times at the moment with world leaders. The two blonde boys Boris and Trump. Austin powers mini  me Korea.  Various yes men puppet politicians throughout the world vying for most popular boy in school award. Plus all the hiden vipers and corrupt officials  stirring the pot.

Be interesting to see how Scotland Votes.

Think May might get a 150 plus Maj.

One good thing is that stupid Lib MP from Richmond will get her arse kicked.

We have enough problems over here. 

I voted on Brexit as I thought  it important but keeping firmly out of this one...we vote here  too because our voice should be heard. Extremely hard when they are so good looking so have to keep your wits about you 

Good luck though I think the result is a forgone conclusion

She needs a two thirds vote by MPs to call an election.
