| I tend to make rugs to relax. I have started this one and nearly up to the top of the legs. As we will be busy for rest of the year. I probably won't complete this summer. At least it's a start. |

| I used to make latch-knot rugs years ago and I thought at the time this could be something to do in my old age. Alas, it wasn't to be. Arthritis has made my finger agility almost zero and I would have difficulty in making the knots, even with the latch hook. |

| I do the rag ones too pops. Any old material shredded up in to 1.5 strips and threaded through the same type of canvass. Duvets, old dresses.. My friends keep pinching them. I actually get more pleasure giving them away. Not with the tiger though. That was costly. Time for me since retiring gets forgotten once I am engrossed in this craft. Sitting in the shade on a warm day. Lovely |

| Nice work Goldie - I don't do any crafts but Mrs Mart does. I can show some of her work here if you like. I might even be able to get her to make remark or two. :) |

| That's not Mine Cider just the completed look. They tend to turn out the same.
Because of the quality wools it cost near on £85 plus import costs. But will be well worth it.
Love yours Cider. Now that is one thing I have not mastered embroidery. Very lovely though |

| That one was during my mum's interest in Chinese history. I think I posted before but not sure if it was here but mum and dad were in bed, dad nearly asleep and mum reading a Chinese history book. She was intrigued by the names of women, which translated to things like "Little Lotus Blossom" and "Flowering cherry" etc. She said to dad "If we were Chinese what would you call me?" to which the half asleep dad replied "Chinky". The other family heirloom:- ----------------------------------------- Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol!

| Ha ha. You buy it in kit form Cider but it does take concentration. You make one mistake and the whole row comes out :;smile: |
