We too are "living" in Lanzarote until we fly home on Thursday.

We have had a wonderful few days sampling the island and will be returning for a longer stay later this year.

T'was a bit windy and cloudy though and it was reported that the week before we arrived there was hail and snow on the mountains for the first time in living memory at this time of the year.

Never been there Goldie only Tenerefe,we much prefer the mainland been there many times.

Not like last year Alan the weather has been a bit funny but nice enough to walk and enjoy. It is a bit of a windy island.

The weather even an island this small varies. We chose the South as it is much warmer. You do need a break from the constant heat, although the wind does keep it cooler which is a relief. Watch the sun even small doses. We are so near the Sahara you will burn plus the wind, 

We have been her three years but moving on to mainland. You get what is called  island fever. You need to get off from time to time.

I love flying in and seeing the island. The mountain is called Granda Hatcji which you can't miss.

Mail me where you are staying next year. I can probably give you  background info
