Drinking at home. Empty
PostSubject: Drinking at home.   Drinking at home. EmptyFri Oct 17, 2014 1:35 pm

In my younger days I wouldn't have dreamed of drinking at home. Evening dinner was accompanied by a glass of water and cup of tea/coffee after the meal.
Nowadays I never have an evening meal without a glass of medium white wine. Even if we're only having fish & chips - the wine is there.
Sometime in the evening I'll enjoy a vodka &  tonic.

Tony on the other hand never touches alcohol in the house. This is because he drinks real ale out of a hand pump. He hates spirits and anything in a bottle or can.
He get's his refreshments by going to our local about four times a week..

So what I'm wondering is: Do you drink at home? :;smile:

I can't fault Tony CJ he's a man after my own heart the only difference is I do drink at home
there are some good real ales to be had in bottles although I do like going to the pub for a
natter with my mates.

Yes, sometimes wine with a meal, sometimes an artisan or specialist beer, rarely spits but maybe something involving Bacardi now and agin.  I live a lone which makes a bit of difference, and you have to watch for the slippery slope!

Conversely, because I'm usually in the car, I can't remember the last time I had alcohol while out.

A glass of red wine every evening with my meal.  Even when it's fish, which is quite often as we like it a lot, it's RED, ever since I had a stent fitted.

'Er indoors is partial to a glass of white wine, chardonnay, pinot grigot or anything as long as it's white.
We get it by the case from Virgin Wines auctions, beautiful quality wines at reasonable prices. yes
