I can see evolutionary advantages in a lady's adequate bum as a storage area for subcutaneous fat for times of stress in our past. That fat also gives soft curves that attract males of the species. It reverts to survival of the species and we've done quite well at that . In fact too well so nature will probably give us our commupance possibly in the form of Donald Trump.
