Last year had both at the same visit. |

| Had my Flu jab last Thursday along with my Yearly check up. They discovered I didn't have The wandering Ab Dabs or Malaria or Bent Politicians Syndrom. So that's me sorted for the next twelve Month's. |

| I had a shingles and flu jab during the same visit a few weeks ago. One in each arm. | We don't have "jabs" for flu etc.. Instead we rely on Homoeopathy remedys...and I have done for nigh on 60 years.
Yes we are weird. But fairly fit with it. |

| I think I prefer 1 jab a year to spending 60 years taking Homoeopathy stuff that made me weird. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. | I think anyone who uses homeopathy and gets away with it are lucky. I will stick with an annual jab. ----------------------------------------- Gustav Mahler is the finest composer who ever lived. |

| And so will I .... I will refrain from ridiculing Homeopathy, although I will admit to being sorely tempted !! |

| I didn't believe in acupuncture until I experienced it when having minor surgery in Hong Kong. It was as effective as a local anaesthetic.
Whilst I am not a proponent of homeopathy - I can believe it is efficacious for minor ailments if the person truly believes in it. A case of mind over matter. Despite the huge advances in medical science - we still have much to learn about how the brain functions and controls our bodies. ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. Despite the huge advances in medical science - we still have much to learn about how the brain functions and controls our bodies. Acupuncture is truly brilliant. I had years of recurring back problems, spending up to a couple of weeks at a time unable to drive, and lying on the floor. The doctor sent me to the local hospital as the physio there did acupuncture. Twelve treatment and I have never had a problem since. :D :D :D :D ----------------------------------------- Gustav Mahler is the finest composer who ever lived. |
