| A dog could be trained to touch whichever switch you ordered it too. Cats are stupid. A stuffed cat would not be able to obey ----------------------------------------- Gustav Mahler is the finest composer who ever lived. |

| I am a cat lover, having had several as pets in the past. I am currently feeding four strays on a daily basis having had them vetted and neutered..... I take great exception to any suggestions of cruelty even in tongue-in-cheek cartoon/game form. I hope this will be an end to it. |

| Although I have an intense dislike of the domestic cat I would NEVER deliberately hurt one. My link was purely a joke. My personal opinion is that domestic cats are not suitable as pets in built up areas due to their nuisance potential. Not only do they cause damage to peoples plants and gardens in general, they also cause mass decimation of wild life. This fact is supported by the most revered wild life expert in the country. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2013/dec/10/cats-killing-birds-gardens-david-attenboroughBirds are of cause also in decline due to their natural habitat disappearing, so they rely strongly on food provided in our gardens, and can well do without being preyed upon by domestic cats. Wild cats have almost disappeared from the countryside, and are now existing only in wild places in Scotland. This is made worse by their interbreeding with domestic cats, and may well soon become extinct. The domestic cat has a lot to answer for. ----------------------------------------- Gustav Mahler is the finest composer who ever lived. |

I have heard it all before ! It is a view shared by many. Much as I love dogs, they too should NOT be allowed to be a nuisance to others. Most people do now remove their dogs crap. Dogs should also restrained from barking their heads off and upsetting people who live locally. I have been a dog owner, and she was trained to be quiet when ordered to do so. She was never a nuisance to other people ----------------------------------------- Gustav Mahler is the finest composer who ever lived. |

| Calling Rubber Duck
I like both cats and dogs
My wife is a cat lover - she had 6 semi-feral cats in Spain and still can't resist having a feline chat and a stroke at every opportunity. However - much as she would like one - we now live in a retirement complex where pets are not allowed - which also prevents me from having a dog.
However, we are both agreed that even if we were allowed to have a pet - we wouldn't - because it would restrict our freedom to go off on trips or holidays at every opportunity.
Over! ----------------------------------------- This post may contain controversial personal opinion, humour, ironic comment or sarcasm. If I have accidentally offended you - please contact me and I will unreservedly apologise. If however it was intentional - it will add to my pleasure. |
