Memory Loss Empty
PostSubject: Memory Loss   Memory Loss EmptySun Jan 01, 2017 9:40 pm

Over the past year or so I have been a bit concerned about a gradual loss of short term memory.

Perhaps I need not have worried - when I think about it I can remember 2016 like it was yesterday.

You are in trouble mate, it was in fact the day BEFORE yesterday.

It was yesterday when I wrote it as you well know. Hence another of your comments is redundant. hat

I sincerely doubt that other people would be so pedantic. The term "yesterday" is a relative term defined as the day before the day of an event or when a statement is made. The post was supposed to be a wry humorous comment - not one to be taken so seriously

If your understanding were correct the use of the word yesterday would be wrong at some time every time it was used.
