Anybody tried these?  Our tree is fruiting and the grandkids hunt them down with great enthusiasm, cut them in half and scoop them out with a spoon.

I've never heard of them before Ciderman. Are they about berry size? ..although the one at the top-left looks bigger than a berry.

About the size of a plum Mart.  They are a native of Sth America brought here by Polynesians along with kumara in about the 11th century.
