I watched ' The darkest hour ' the other night. Will watch ' Dunkirk ' and ' Blade runner 2 ' over this weekend and will let you know. Also want to watch ' The Post '.
Gary Goldman's display of acting was a corker playing Churchill though the film was somewhat lacking in content, rather focusing on Churchill's character rather than the intricacies of the history. Good though!.

Still haven't watched ' Dunkirk '. Watched  ' The post '. Slow burning story with great performances from Tom Hanks and Meryl Street. Excellent content.
Am giving ' Blade runner ' a miss after reading various reviews and watching the first 20 mins. Would rather keep my fondness for the first one.

I went to the cinema to see the latest 'Dunkirk'. Certainly a very noisy film. As with any war film though, it is awful to see what those poor fellows had to endure.

I consider I'm very lucky to have lived in a time and place where young men didn't have to go off to fight a war.

someone asked me the other day - your british have you seen dunkirk - I said - a bit but didn't enjoy - all young lads of my era were brought up understanding dunkirk - my father was there and my uncles - it is embedded in my brain for life - so it's really no big deal - filming it in black and white and putting in all the noise didn't do it for me!
