That is the No1 classical favourite of the nation...so they say ! I find it just OK myself !

My father was quite a musician he used to play the violin in a dance band. He used to play the ukulele, the mouth organ and the ubiquitous JewsHarp.
The sound emanating from the above violin sound similar to his tuning up.

It is a beautiful piece - but that performance for me was somewhat spoiled by the backing instruments being too loud.
I will confess however to having poor hearing and hearing aids possibly don't amplify the various frequencies accurately.
