Reset Network Adapter Empty

Could not get on Internet this morning, tried all the usual things and eventually had to reset the Network Adapter. I think this may have been something to do with the recent Windows 10 updates.

I accept all Windows 10 updates and haven't needed to do that. Was it the computer needed something doing, or was it modem/router that had to be reset?

It was, the computer itself, I only use it on Wi Fi while out and about, I don't have Wi Fi at home. It also caused problems with my Yahoo email accounts on the phone, it kept saying the passwords were wrong, had to reboot the phone before it would accept them.
