Everything is a search engine for finding files and folders on the C: drive or any other internal/external drive attached to the computer. Windows itself provides a way of searching for files but Everything does it very much faster. Type the file/folder name into the search box for almost instant results;

Wow.. that is amazing, incredibly fast and it really does show everything !

Sometimes, these third-party tools seem so much better. I wonder why Windows has such a slow search when Everything can do it so fast?

Perhaps I should just say that I have been using any software mentioned for a good while, so all tried and tested. System scans of the computer over the months I've had them installed have always been OK.
