OMG Mart....I am currently worried about a very small Keratoacanthoma on my left lower eyelid and awaiting its surgical removal scheduled for July 3rd.
When I hear about others with real problems like you and your wife, it makes me feel very ashamed indeed.
I sincerely hope the outcome of your scan is good and that the prognosis is excellent for you. yes

Of course your eye problem is very important Malcolm. I get watery eyes and was going to have an op on the tear ducts.

However, when I got to the eye department and saw the problems some people were having in and around their eyes, I felt my problem was very minor and decided not to take up the surgeon's time when others were in much more need than I was.

The results of my scan are 'No change'. It's about 2 years since the tumour in my remaining kidney was detected and it hasn't grown any larger in that time. It still measures a little over 1 x 1 centimetres. Another scan is scheduled for next year.

I'll have to go for a Cystoscopy though. I have what's called an 'atonic bladder'. The bladder is tightly sealed though, so no problems there. I won't go into details of what a person with an atonic bladder has to do to stay comfortable. Just suffice it to say that I sometimes have trouble using what is necessary. It might be prostate trouble causing it.

A pity really because I'm otherwise so fit and energetic.

Definitely recommend the cherries for gout. It was first suggested to me by an osteopath locally although I am not a patient of hers, just at a social gathering.

They don't seem to have a theory as to why it works but it certainly does.

Do you just have to rub them into the affected area?

The week I had my kidney removed, steak and kidney pie was on the menu. Waste not - want not.
