In our area and other areas shortly they are going to turn off street lights
At a certain time at night, 
Do you agree with this,
I know we must save money but I think this is taking it to far.

It's been happening in some places for a long time, around here it is on the motorways...in the streets they are just turned right down so as to make them a total waste of time

Where I am, alternate lights are turned off at midnight and then at one am the alternates of those are turned off. As I live in the back of beyond the street lights are only one about every half mile anyway so the whole lot may just as well go off at midnight.
