| I wasn't in a concentration camp in 1940's Germany but I know they existed.
Still .. we've reached some common ground now. I'll tell you whenever you post selective garbage about the UK and we'll largely be able to agree with each other and have amicable discussions. |

| Why don't we all pick on France - for me a very juicy target.

| I'm too old and set in my ways to emigrate to Australia, plus my kids are not far away. Otherwise I might consider it.
The UK has become a most depressing place - not helped by the gloom and doom in the newspapers. I no longer buy one, I see enough problems in real life. |

| Australia's pretty much the last place I'd go even if I did emigrate. I might end up in a detention camp in Manus or Naurua and have to rely on President Trump to offer me a home in the US. All is not rosy in the outback country.
I'd fancy New Zealand, much nicer place, but the criteria to get in there is very strict. |

british racism
ozzie racism I think one of your own homegrown anti-racist charities might disagree with you on that. 1 in 5 people in Australia have experienced racism. (on the increase as it was previously 1 in 8) 3 in 4 Indigenous Australians regularly experience racism One in seven people living in Australia are against the concept of multiculturalism Three in ten people do not believe that immigrants make Australia stronger One in three believe there are some cultural groups that do not belong in Australia One in ten have racist attitudes http://alltogethernow.org.au/racism/ |

| My sister has been in Australia for many years, and she still can't believe the way the aboriginals are frequently treated. It is true that a few have advanced, but they are in the minority, remember it was their land for millions of years before others took it over, the same in the U.S. My original point was that another forum member was saying in another thread that we in the UK have no right to expect that everyone should show their faces in public, and that face masks should be banned. ----------------------------------------- Gustav Mahler is the finest composer who ever lived. |
