Austria to ban full-face veil in public places

I hate 'em
If only this could be applied here.
My local town Preston is full of these women
Austria has 150 of them, Preston must have at least 15.000 of them
If only this could done here in Britain tomorrow !

I fully agree,people's faces should be visible for identification purposes. Banks and shopping malls ban full face cover crash helmets,why not women's face masks. The stupid women also don't seem to be aware that some sunlight on the skin is essential to top up vitamin D3.

I normally avoid political and issues of this nature, but I do believe that if people decide (and are accepted) to reside in our Country, they should be required to abide by our requirements (as we would be in theirs).

Mind you looking at some of them they need a Burkha.

There is no need for them here in the UK - it is NOT a religious requirement. The origin lies in the sun's radiation levels in the Middle East.

If you were a young and pretty woman and one of 4 wives competing for bonking favours, it behoves you to stay attractive for as long as possible. The intense sun there wrinkles people's skin quite quickly and the enveloping bin liner protects them.

You are right Alan , it is not an Islamic requirement and would be an excellent way of hiding a terrorist. As for their sun it's not a patch on ours for UV.
